This Example will earn you credit: Alice Paul: was an American suffragist, and a leader and strategist of the 1910s campaign for the 19th Amendment. She was the founder of the National Woman’s Party and organized a march on Washington DC, the Silent Sentinels and a hunger strike; her aggressive tactics were instrumental in the successful campaign that resulted in its passage in 1920
